We’re pleased to be shortlisted for Payroll and HR Provider at The Rewards 2025. Run by Reward Strategy, The Rewards 2025 celebrate excellence across payroll, HR, and reward, highlighting organisations that combine accuracy, compliance, strong service, and measurable improvement.
Our nomination highlights how we maintain accuracy at scale, strengthen controls, and improve the payroll experience for our customers and their employees.
About our nomination:
Outstanding effort under testing circumstances
Our customer portfolio spans central and local government, blue-light services, and private sector organisations, each with unique systems and compliance needs. Across this base, we serve over one million people each year, and our teams kept payroll stable through system changes, peak periods, and organisational restructures. Issues were triaged quickly, with clear ownership and communication so pay runs stayed on track.
Significant improvements in performance
In 2025, we achieved 99.94% payroll accuracy and maintained 100% SLA compliance for key clients. We also halved upheld complaints year on year through root-cause fixes and proactive risk monitoring.
Achievement of targets and training
We performance monthly reviews against SLAs and internal benchmarks keep our standards high. Our managers, team leads and practitioners complete regular skills refreshers, and focused coaching follows incident reviews. We strive for continuous improvement and learning is applied to ensure targets are consistently met.

Implementation of new offerings, procedures, or systems
Checks are built into every stage of the payroll cycle and supported by documented procedures and process notes. Where programmes introduce new platforms or integrations, we work closely with customers to plan, test and release changes without disrupting pay runs or services.
Excellent teamwork within and across departments
Our Payroll Tower model promotes shared standards, knowledge exchange and rapid support between teams and locations. Close collaboration with our customers’ HR, Finance and IT teams keeps data safe, workflows clean and ensures quick resolution when changes arise.
Excellent customer service
We resolved 98% of customers’ and users’ queries within agreed timescales, with feedback praising clear updates and quick fixes. A simple escalation path, regular governance meetings and transparent reporting help stakeholders see progress and plan confidently.
Standards behind the results
Our quality and risk management frameworks are certified to ISO 9001 for Quality Management and ISO 27001 for Information Security, and our Business Continuity framework meets BS2599 standards.
We track risks in an operational register, conduct process audits to test controls’ effectiveness, and utilise error logs to inform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions, thereby preventing issue recurrence.
“This recognition is all about our teams. They bring energy, expertise, and a service mindset to every pay cycle. I’m delighted to see their dedication acknowledged at The Rewards 2025.”
