We are delighted to announce that we’ve officially joined the Accounts Payable Association (APA) — the UK’s leading professional body for accounts payable practitioners.

This step reflects our ongoing commitment to developing our people, sharing best practices, and ensuring our clients benefit from the very latest thinking in AP process excellence.

Why we’ve joined the Accounts Payable Association

At Liberata, we don’t just deliver Accounts Payable (AP) services, we combine expert practitioners with technology and innovation to help clients resolve operational challenges. As Bob Jones, Service Delivery Director at Liberata, explains in our recent discussion with the APA, our teams work closely with development colleagues to constantly innovate, creating solutions that address real-world AP issues.

By joining the APA, we’re giving our teams access to an extensive professional community where they can connect, learn, and share insights with their peers. Fifty of our AP professionals will directly benefit from APA membership, enabling them to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Our investment goes beyond membership alone. We’re implementing structured professional development for our teams using the APA’s ACT Skills Assessment training software, complementing traditional on-the-job training with a formal framework that enhances consistency and quality.

We are also working towards our APA quality accreditation, which further reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards and providing the best possible service for our clients.
