Liberata named Preferred Supplier for London Borough of Barnet Revenues and Benefits Service
London Borough of Barnet Council has named Liberata as Preferred Supplier to deliver its Revenues and Benefits Service, including Revenues and Benefits Customer Services, following a competitive tender process.
The initial five-year partnership, due to go live on 1 October 2026, will support cost-efficient service transformation, improve access for residents and businesses, and help deliver accessible services.
The partnership will deliver core services across Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and related customer services.
The programme will also include a phased technology and service improvement plan, supporting the transition to an updated Revenues and Benefits platform, improved document management, enhanced reporting and more effective use of automation across the service.
Alongside operational delivery, Liberata will work with Barnet to deliver a social value programme aligned to the borough’s priorities. This will focus on building skills and capacity, supporting local employment, improving financial wellbeing and providing practical support for residents who need it most.
The award builds on our existing managed payroll services for the Council and Barnet Education and Learning Services.
