Appreciating our employees
Today (6th March 2026) is Employee Appreciation Day, and we are recognising the contribution our colleagues make to delivering what matters to our customers and the success of our business.
Liberata operates in complex, highly regulated, and sensitive environments. Every role our employees perform delivers for our customers and one another. Whether helping vulnerable people, resolving customer queries first time, managing financial transactions, running payroll accurately, recovering debt fairly, or supporting the business behind the scenes, each member of staff contributes to our success.
However, we don’t just appreciate our staff one day a year. At Liberata, we regularly take time to celebrate our employees’ achievements through our monthly ACE Awards. The nominations and awards show our values of Accessible, Curious and Expert working in real situations.

Payroll – Accessible
Laura has been described as a steady source of support, encouragement, and motivation across multiple teams. Whether proofreading an important message or offering timely advice, Laura creates space for others to feel seen, supported, and heard.
She’s helped rebuild team connection post-pandemic, championed openness and inclusivity, and supported clients with her deep subject knowledge.
Tarik Anil
Payroll – Curious
Despite being new to pensions, Tarik has made an immediate impression by embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and focus.
He’s developed new technical skills, taken on responsibility with accuracy and care, and helped onboard other team members along the way. Tarik’s curiosity has translated into real growth – both personally and for the people around him.
Courtney Whitford
Payroll – Expert
Courtney’s calm and consistent professionalism make her a trusted expert in every sense. She supports colleagues and clients with confidence, precision, and care – always delivering to a high standard.
Her recent handling of a Councillor enquiry received praise from Bromley client Pete Turner, who recognised her “usual professional approach.” That consistency and commitment are exactly what define an Expert at Liberata.
Sandra Wright
Payroll – Accessible
Sandra stepped in to support a colleague’s team during maternity leave, taking on payroll outside her usual remit and helping to ensure key deadlines were met. Even after that critical period, she continues to offer support wherever she can.
Her willingness to step forward, share her expertise, and simply be there when needed makes a difference – and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Sandra’s approach shows that accessibility isn’t just about availability, it’s about action.

Operational Support – Expert
Richard received four separate nominations this month, recognising both his technical expertise and his support for others.
He’s played a key role in training and onboarding new colleagues, answering questions with patience and clarity, and building the confidence of those around him.
Whether delivering training or solving problems, Richard brings consistency, encouragement, and expert insight to every interaction.
Lata Yadav
Revenues and Benefits – Accessible
Lata has built a strong reputation as someone who’s always willing to help – no matter the task or the timing. She’s recently supported the development of a new apprentice, offering insight into team roles and different ways of working.
Whether guiding a colleague, supporting a partner, or stepping in to assist without being asked, Lata’s thoughtful and consistent approach earns her respect from every corner of the business.
Pheobe Chan
Information Technology – Expert
Phoebe has quickly established herself as a trusted technical partner to the Payroll Tower. Her work supporting the iTrent system ensures that colleagues and clients experience stability and confidence in day-to-day operations.
Phoebe stepped forward as a system demonstrator with clarity and professionalism. Her technical knowledge, accountability, and willingness to take on responsibility have already made a strong impression.
