Social value: Education, skills and pathways into work

Providing social value initiatives is a core part of our large BPO services. We collaborate with our council and community partners to support stronger communities, ensure fair access to opportunity, and improve public services.

Real help, real outcomes

In 2025, we focused on practical support that helps young people build confidence, gain skills, and move into paid work. With councils and local partners, we funded teaching, removed everyday barriers such as travel and equipment costs, and created early-career routes that last.

We supported maths and English sessions for those not in education or work, and entry-level courses for young people who arrived in the UK without a parent or guardian. The goal was simple, rebuild confidence, gain core skills, and make next steps possible.

“The funding received from Liberata has made a huge impact on the lives of our care leavers in Hounslow. Many have either returned to education or started full-time jobs, and we are seeing positive sustainment in these progressions.”

said Natasha Woolman, The Virtual School, London Borough of Hounslow, on our support, ranging from Functional Skills and GCSE preparation to ESOL and a social enterprise project that builds confidence and teamwork.

Creating routes into paid work

Skills matter when they open doors. We provide apprenticeships, help graduates move into full-time roles, and offer student placements, so young people can gain experience and stay in work. Inside our teams, we build skills that customers rely on through short academies in data, automation, and process improvement.

Partnerships that remove barriers

Working closely with councils and foundations, we focused on practical outcomes, helping with equipment, IT, and travel so people can stay in education or training, alongside mentoring and confidence-building, so first jobs become lasting successes.

Together we provided:

  • 48 maths and English sessions for young people not in education or work
  • 24 entry-level sessions for young people who arrived in the UK without a parent or guardian
  • 4 apprenticeships, 13 graduates moving into full-time roles, and 6 student placements

What’s next

We’re preparing a virtual work experience offer for launch in April 2026 to widen access to mentoring and work insights. If you’d like to explore local programmes, we’re happy to talk.
