A Disabled Facilities Grant can fund essential home modifications to make the life of a person with disabilities easier. Liberata can help local authorities deliver life-changing adaptations, from the receipt of application right through to the completion of work.
Liberata has created a bespoke web form which is able to capture all the necessary information required for Councils to make a decision on the grant available. The software incorporates all of the relevant government calculations and once Occupational Health has referred a case, our administration team will create a unique login for individuals to input and upload the required information. Our support team are on hand to assist any applicants that might need guidance with this process. Once the information is inputted, the software calculates the feasibility and grant amount and feeds this to the Council for review and decision.
By making the process entirely digital, we can eliminate any human error from the application process and save a lot of administration work on behalf of your Housing department. The calculations are made instantaneously, providing a quick but thorough process, allowing grants to be offered more quickly to individuals and families in need. Our dedicated team will process cases within a 4-hour window of being received, allowing the upload of documents and necessary information to the system on the same day as the referral is received.
Once the application is complete, the real work can begin. We can assist with surveys and detailed drawings of minor and major adaptations (including obtaining Planning and Building Regulations Approval where applicable), implement schedules of work and tendering, and produce pre-construction information for major adaptations. We will carry out inspections of works on site including monitoring cost and quality throughout.
We work in conjunction with Councils systems, utilising a strict DPIA to ensure GDPR and data protection are at the very forefront of our service.
