By car

• Leave M6 motorway at junction 36 (A590) & branch left signposted to Barrow
• At roundabout take 1st exit (signposted Barrow)
• Continue along the A590. At the roundabout, take 2nd exit
• At next roundabout take the 1st exit
• Pass through Newby Bridge & continue on A590
• At Ulverston take 2nd exit (sign posted Barrow)
• Go through Swarthmoor and Lindal
• At roundabout take 2nd exit
• At the next junction with A595 roundabout take 2nd exit
• At junction for Furness General Hospital roundabout take 2nd exit
• Continue along Walney Road, turning right into Phoenix Road after fire station
• Lake House is found on the left hand side

By train

• Please call National Rail enquiries 08457 484950. You may have to change at Lancaster for Barrow Train Station
• It is a 5 minute taxi drive from Barrow station to Lake House
