Dermot Joyce, Group Chief Executive Officer
Dermot is the Chief Executive of Liberata and is a main Board member of the company. He is responsible for all aspects of the operations of the business, its financial success and the quality of services provided to customers.
With more than 20 years experience, Dermot is an accomplished leader with deep expertise of successfully growing businesses in the business processing outsourcing (BPO) and government services sectors. He joined Liberata on 14 September 2009, from Serco Group's Civil Government business where he was Chief Operating Officer. Previously he was Executive Director of the Commercial Services Division of Capita Group, which included both private and public sector BPO operations.
Dermot holds an undergraduate degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick and an MBA from University College Dublin. He also has a MSc. in International Accounting & Finance from London School of Economics.
Martin Trainer, Chief Financial Officer
Martin is Liberata's Chief Financial Officer and joined from QA-IQ Group in January 2010, where he held the role of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to this, he held a number of senior management roles in Capita Group PLC, including Divisional Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director and Divisional Finance Director.
He was educated at Bath University, where he achieved a BA (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Vijay Chandiramani, Operations Director
Vijay Chandiramani is a Operations Director with Liberata and is responsible for developing the business strategy, delivering growth, financial performance and client satisfaction for a portfolio of clients in our Local Government Business. Vijay joined from Steria's government business where he was responsible for developing strategic partnerships within the UK public sector.
He started his career with Siemens as a Project Engineer and since then has held senior positions in operations and business development with global technology and outsourcing businesses in a career spanning 20 years. Vijay has led service turnarounds and transformed business relationships into long-term strategic partnerships delivering value.
Vijay holds an Honours Degree in Electronics Engineering and MBA from University of Mumbai, India.
Rowan Gilpin, Director of Service Business Group
Rowan is the Director of Service Business Group for Liberata. Rowan is a business leader with 20 years of directorship experience, working in the HR & Payroll BPO services sector, IT services, Property Development and Construction industries and banking services.
Janine Tjassens- Operations Director
Janine is a Operations Director for Liberata, focusing on operational aspects, financial performance, quality of service and client satisfaction.
Janine has over 15 years of experience in successfully managing and developing client engagements in a number of industries. She joined Liberata in October 2006 from Perot Systems, where she was Client and Operations Manager for one of the regional operations. Previously, she held various senior roles in the IT service industry, with responsibility for transformation and change programmes.
Janine holds a Masters Degree in Commercial Economics and an MBA from the University of Windesheim.
Alan Dawson, Director of Business Transformation
Alan is Liberata's Business Transformation Director, joining in January 2010 from Serco Group, where he held a similar role. Alan's core focus will be to ensure that all project and programme elements within Liberata's ongoing Transformation Programme operate in the most effective and robust fashion and are aligned to our business strategy.
Alan has an extensive background in business change and business improvement, having worked in a variety of FTSE companies over the last 15 years. He was Transformation & Operations Director for BT, held the position of Commercial Director at Capita, and was the Director of Operations for 118-118. Alan spent the first part of his career in Sales and Marketing, working for Ernst & Young in Corporate Finance and on the launch of Orange in the UK market. He is an undergraduate of Modern and Medieval History at University College London.
Lloyd Clark, Director of Local Government Business Group
Lloyd is the Director of Local Government Business Group and is responsible for non-IT operational delivery across the company's service lines.
Lloyd joined Liberata in 2006 and was previously responsible for Performance Improvement, Programme Management and Procurement. He assumed his current position after running the company's Revenues and Benefits Shared Service operations. Before joining Liberata, he was the Director of Product Management and Operations for two international trade Application Service Providers and Head of Strategy for S.W.I.F.T sc in Brussels.
John Tyreman, Director of Information Technology
John joined Liberata in August 2006, and following a year managing client relationships in Pendle, Barrow and Redcar, was appointed Director of IT in September 2007. He is responsible for strategic development and operational management of ICT services, serving both Liberata's clients and internal business function within the organisation, as well as Group Procurement, PMO and Business Transformations functions. John holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and is a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP) member of the British Computer Society (BCS).
John has worked within the IT industry for 30 years in a wide range of roles including Operational Management, Account Management and consultancy work for both public and private sector organisations. Following a period of time as Head of Electronic Government for Highland Council, John became Regional Director for Fujitsu Services in the North East for three years, before joining Liberata.
Lee Nicholson, Sales & Marketing Director
Lee is Liberata's Sales & Marketing Director, joining from Serco Group in February 2010, where he spent eight years in a number of senior roles. Most recently he was Business Development Director, Technology Services, for Serco Civil Government where he was integral to winning new contracts with a value of over £450 million in seven years.
Lee is taking strategic and day to day responsibility for all aspects of Liberata's sales and new business activities in both the public and private sector, working with existing and potential clients to identify how Liberata can best provide business processing solutions.
Tim Collins, General Counsel
Tim is Liberata's General Counsel and is responsible for managing the Company's legal affairs. He leads the Company's legal team which provides support to all of Liberata's operations.
Tim is a solicitor with over 20 years' experience, predominantly in the areas of outsourcing and public sector procurement. Before joining Liberata in 2005, he worked as an independent legal consultant and in private practice as an associate at Simmons & Simmons. From 1995 to 2000 he worked as a Government Lawyer, for the Treasury Solicitor.
